Faithful Men Ministry

Salutation: Faithful Men! Builders of The Wall

Welcome to the Faithful Men Ministry page.

We hope that you will be motivated to get involved in one or more of our men’s ministries. Here is an overview of what we have going on.

Our Purpose

The purpose of men’s ministries in City of Sweet Jesus Ministry is two-fold:

  1. To be used by God to bring men to Christ
  2. To be used by God to help men become more like Christ

Everything we do is directed at accomplishing these two purposes

Our Men’s Ministry at City of Sweet Jesus Ministry involves the active pursuit of connecting men to Christ, God’s Word, and other godly men for the purpose of growing and encouraging them in their God-given roles as husbands, fathers, friends, brothers, and spiritual leaders. Our goal is to educate men in their understanding of how the Bible defines a godly man: one who rejects passivity, accepts responsibility, leads courageously and invests in eternity, as well as equip them with right spiritual and relational tools to do so.

Thus at City of Sweet Jesus Ministry, we desire to be men who diligently seek to find our primary identity and security in Christ, be well-versed in the definition of biblical manhood, and determine ways that we can best implement what we learn into our daily walk with Christ. Faithful Men ministry exists to help men integrate faith into their workplace and become passionate disciple makers of Jesus Christ.

Probably the most intense spiritual battle for Christian men is the discipline of prayer. Men, how is your personal prayer life? The good news is that prayer is one of God’s most powerful weapons in our spiritual arsenal. We are at war “with the rulers, powers, the world forces of darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness…” Ephesians 6:12. The church needs men who are well-armed warriors…passionate about being genuine prayer warriors.

So, men, consider being a part of an “army” of prayer warriors who model Holy Spirit filled/dependent prayer with their families and be a catalyst for Christ in promoting a culture of prayer with the Faithful Men family. The Apostle Paul says it best, “Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong…” 1 Corinthians 16:13
